How Long LED Street Lights Last?

This is because there are dozens of lamp beads within an LED lightbulb that contain LED chips. Each of these beads has 50,000 hours of lifespan. When adding this all together, the LED bulbs’ lifespan comes out to around ten years!

However, it’s important to note that most streetlights are set on timers, only turning on when necessary. Most municipalities will set them to only turn on when night or dusk falls. For this reason, an LED street lamp could last between 20 and 25 years!
